Excited to be sharing Shannon and Matt’s vintage downtown Orlando, Florida engagement photography session today.  This was one of my favorite engagement sessions over the years, not just because these two are adorable, but because they are great friends of ours.  Shannon and I met at Disney.  She was a wedding coordinator with Disney Fairytale weddings and we got to work together on many weddings.  Many times we would talk about her dream wedding and we were so excited when Matt (who plays dueling pianos and sings at Jelly Rolls) proposed to her and they asked us to shoot her wedding.  Since this blog is fairly new I didn’t get to share this sweet engagement session and wanted to make sure the world got to see it!

They chose downtown Orlando because they live and play there.  The farmers market is a weekly date for them and they wanted to make sure and incorporate it into the shoot.  It very special when our couples choose a location that represents them as a couple.  We started at the farmers market, purchasing some coconut milk like they always do and made our way about Lake Eola.  Because they had a 2 hour engagement session we made our way back to their place to change and even capture and image of them in their apartment.   We headed up to the top of a parking lot to capture the sunset and some beautiful night shots with the city lights in the back ground.  Stay tuned as we share their New Orleans Wedding in the coming weeks!
