Sam and Jason’s Paddlefish Restaurant Destination Wedding at Disney Springs

How They Met

Sam and Jason met many years ago and would casually run into each other for 10 years. But on one St Patrick’s day they talked for more than just a hello.  That was when Jason found out Sam had never seen Star Wars and was dead set on changing that.  8 Star Wars movies, and a few years later, he was down on one knee in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland in California to ask her to spend the rest of their lives together.

The Wedding

Instead of a cold winter wedding in Long Island, New York they invited their closest friends and family to a destination wedding at the happiest place on earth.  Forgoing a 1 day event back home, they celebrated and vacationed with everyone for several days!  The wedding day ceremony and lunch were held at Paddlefish Restaurant at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida.  Paddlefish is a re-creation of a 19th Century paddle-wheeler and was originally named after Walt Disney’s wife Lillian, “Empress Lily.”  After a sweet ceremony outside on the top deck everyone headed inside for lunch.  They ended the day with a Dessert Fireworks Party at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.  Congratulations to both of you and we had such a great time capturing your day!
