Their story began over 3 years ago, on a random night at the local bar. They found each other arguing over the ongoing debate of who is the better Manning brother. Under the surface of their heated discussion was a little spark. Since that faithful nights discussion the spark has grown into quite a big love. On a 3 year anniversary cruise Jon proposed overlooking the ocean with the wind in their hair. He said his biggest desire was the spend the rest of his life bothering Mallory…and they still haven’t come to terms with who is the best Manning brother!
When they started the planning process for the wedding the first venue they toured was the 43 acre ranch that is Club Lake Plantation. They fell in love from the moment they arrived but felt they should look around at other venues before settling on the big decision. After a few other tours they knew Club Lake was the one! It was the perfect setting! With the bride and bridesmaids in boots and the Jersey boys in their tuxes it was the perfect mix of Country girl and City boy. The ceremony was under the old oak trees with custom wooden pews and horses in the background. While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour around Whiskey River bar next to the stables, we took Mallory and Jon around the property for some intimate and special photos of just the two of them. Everywhere you turn on the property is another photo opportunity! We could have spent hours taking photos! But it was time to head back into the barn for dancing. The barn has recently been renovated to accommodate much larger crowds. At he end of the bar are 3 doors that open up so you can bring a little bit of the outside in! And because the venue is also amazing at night with market lights, lanterns, and even a chandelier hangings from an old oak tree, it was imperative we take a few night photos. After dinner, dancing and lots of fun around Whiskey River bar it was time for Mallory and Jon to make their grand exit through a tunnel of sparklers into their limo and ride off into the moonlight! Congratulations to both of you and we sure do hope to have another wedding at this amazing venue in the future!
