Prepare yourself for the ultimate 25th anniversary story! Tim has raised the bar for all men! While his wife thought they were just going to dinner on their anniversary in the dress she recently bought for the occasion her husband had a different plan up his sleeve. Little did she know when she went to work that day it was going to be a magical day. While at work her boss took her downstairs and she was surprised when she found a limo sitting out front and her husband stepped out with a red rose in hand. Her boss waved goodbye and said she had the rest of the day off! They left and as they got closer to Paradise Cove Tim blindfolded her so she wouldn’t know where she was going. He carefully walked her inside the house on the property of Paradise Cove and whispered in her ear to keep her eyes closed for 15 more seconds, he kissed her and stepped out the door. She stood there in silence counting and then opened her eyes to find her mom, daughter and her daughter’s friends (who are like 2nd children to her) standing in front of her! The dress she had picked out was laid out and there were also dresses for her mom and the girls. They told her she would be getting her hair and makeup done and getting pampered for the next few hours with mimosas and relaxation.
A few hours later it was time for everyone to get dressed but for what Katrina didn’t know! Outside waiting in their seats for the ceremony to begin were about 100 of their closest friends and family who had flown in from all over for the occasion! As she walked out the door she was escorted to walk down the aisle where her groom of 25 years was waiting as their daughter played along with the string quartet their song. It was so touching to watch her face surprise after surprise. It was a tear jerking ceremony and scripture was even qouted her dad read during their wedding many years ago when he officiated. After the ceremony Tim surprised her with large prints of many people who were in the wedding party and had orchestrated to have photos taken of them with the original photo with Katrina. He thought of everything. As they walked over to the reception area she walked along a path of enlarged photos from their wedding day. And to her surprise there in the reception was a duplicate of their original wedding cake! I told you he thought of everything!
The night was filled with so much joy, touching speeches, and lots of dancing! Congratulations to 25 years of happiness together and here’s to another 25 more!
