How They Met

Esther and Damola’s love story began when they found themselves working together in a volunteer group at their church. Having great chemistry as team members, that connection continued into their everyday lives. With the magnetism between them growing stronger the sparks of romance were always close by. Deciding to take things to the next level their first date was a cute and classic ice cream outing. Recognizing those feelings of this-is-meant-to-be, they followed their hearts into each other’s arms and have been inseparable ever since…  (in their words)

The Wedding

Esther and DJ traveled from  Maryland to have their dream wedding at the amazing Loews Portofino Bay Resort & Spa.  With a dream of a European Tuscany theme it was the perfect fit!  The guests even joined in on the fun by wearing British fascinator hats.  With the help of Andrea from Pavone Events everything went off just as planned.  The weather was gorgeous for their outside ceremony on the lawn with music playing by Shannon with Beautiful Music and her talented musicians.  The lawn was decorated with the most beautiful flowers by Lana at Fairbanks Florist!  They opted to have a first look and get most of their photos done before the ceremony which only left us with family photos after.  That was good since these two have a lot of family!  Then it was time for the room reveal.  Wow!  What a room!  My jaw even dropped when I walked in.  Every last detail was executed to perfection!  I cannot even do it justice by describing it so be sure to scroll down to all the touches.  From custom dance floor, custom wedding logo and even a gobo on the wall with gold and candles everywhere!  Les and Wendy from Soundwave Entertainment did an amazing job with lighting and then later with a packed dance floor as they rocked the room with the perfect songs!
