Amy and Chris Country Beach Paradise Cove Wedding

Posted On | Weddings by

Amy and Chris LOVE the water.  For their engagement photos they knew they wanted to be near the water so it only made since their wedding would also take place by the water!  These two love photos and wanted to make sure enough time was set aside for all the fun things to be captured.  Because of this they decided to do a first look.  This was also a good idea since they had A LOT of people in their wedding party.  Before the guys got ready they all hung out by the water in their fishing shirts and did a little fishing to start the day.  Meanwhile all the ladies were having a fun time getting ready in the beach house.  Amy had dreamed of having their first look on the beach and the weather worked out so this was able to happen.  After a sweet embrace and a few photos of the two of them, their wedding party joined us for some not so typical wedding photos.  Amy had her late grandpa’s truck in the field ready for some unique photos.  The bridesmaids, in their beautiful red dresses from David’s Bridal, changed their heels into boots and jumped up in the truck.  Even though it was a very warm Florida summer day this crew was ready and willing to do anything!

A big surprise of the day was when the bridesmaids shocked Amy and Chris with a horse drawn carriage after the ceremony.  As they exited as husband and wife, there it was waiting for them.  Amy and Chris own horses and hold a big place in their heart for these sweet animals.  What a perfect way to spend their first moments together as they head off on this adventure as man and wife!

A very important picture for Amy and Chris was a photo in a canoe in the lake.  After the ceremony a few guys brought the canoe down by the lake at sunset for some romantic photos.   During their engagement session it began to rain and we went with the flow and shot a few photos under my clear umbrella.  They loved these photos so much they wanted to capture the same moment on their wedding day.  Only problem was NO RAIN.  No big deal, why not use bubbles to make their “rain.”  It worked perfectly!

As the fun continued into the night and lot of dancing was had by all, we snuck out for a few night shots with some lanterns Amy had set out on the beach.  It was sweet little romantic spot with just the two of them.  After a crazy night these two love birds exited into the night through a tunnel of bubbles!
