Amanda and Alex’s love story is right out of the movies. Two people who were friends for years, traveled together, lived together and even took care of the other when battling cancer. Through all of that their friendship grew into something more. And while Alex was working abroad in Hong Kong the distance only made them grow closer and realize it was time for their relationship to change. Although their friends and family could see if long before they could, the two of them finally woke up to what was the most perfect match! The laughter and joy they have with each other is infectious.
Their wedding day started with their closest friends along side the to get ready at Reunion Resort. They then headed over to Corpus Christi church for their ceremony. But Amanda had a surprise for Alex, a Bag Piper outside the church to greet everyone! So with his tales and lego man cufflinks he was ready to wait for Amanda down the long aisle. As she walked in her gorgeous Sophia Tolli gown the tears in the church flowed. Following a sweet ceremony their beautiful antique Cadillac was waiting for them. After a fun time running around Reunion Resort golf course, and Sean’s crazy golf cart driving, we head back to the Grande Falls Pavillion for their crazy fun reception. With the always amazing Leonard Brothers Band leading the party it was sure to be a night to remember! Their theme was “Fairytale and Adventure Stories.” Their save the dates even looked library cards! You could find books incorporated into the centerpieces and a bookmark for each guest. The cake topper was themed after “Robin Hood,” one of their favorite movies and there were several other fairytales scattered among flowers around the reception. Outside they had a cigar station with cute personalized match boxes. And after loads of dancing everyone lined up outside for their grand sparkler exit! They climbed the grand staircase outside and waved to all their friends and family….and off they went on their romantic honeymoon!
