How They Met

They met through mutual friends at a Tampa Bay Lightning Brew Fest and had their first date the next day.  Uli was smart and always scheduled the next date at the end of each date, which thoroughly impressed Alex.  Although Uli would never refer to Alex as his “girlfriend” and only say she was “the girl he was dating,” mainly as an on going joke.  There was no going back once he proposed to Alex in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not So Scary Party.

The Wedding

Alex and Uli had their dream fairytale wedding at the Bella Collina Country Club in Monteverde, Florida.   The weather threatened all day to rain but luckily stopped before the ceremony and they were able to have it on the Grand Lawn just as they had imagined.  With amazing florals from Raining Roses it was just gorgeous!  Anna Christine Events of course made sure everything was just as they had so perfectly planned.  The reception was held in the Ballroom.  With candles, flowers and perfectly set black linen it was elegantly timeless!  The lighting in the room was also a wow with custom gobo by Dash of Class.  When dinner was over I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty.  It was a room full of people who love music and dancing!  We snuck out during a couple of songs to grab a few photos by the reflection pond and the atrium by the fountain.  For their grand exit they ran through their full of energy friends and family with sparklers to end their perfect day!
